The lawmakers today maintained their vote for the amendment of legislative acts submitted to President Igor Dodon for re-examination.
The document rejected by the head of state establishes that the management of court files and applications could be made only through the integrated programme of files’ management.
The re-voted draft sees that the integrated programme of files’ management will be single for all law courts and is component part of the judicial information system and its management is provided by the agency of administration of law courts.
Other provisions of the re-voted document regard the work of the judicial inspection, which is an independent specialized body of the Superior Council of Magistrates. This body is to be made up of seven inspectors-judges, due to have office autonomy. The duration of the mandate of inspector-judge will be of six years.
Another completion concerns the graduates of the National Justice Institute, who in case of working as judge, prosecutor or holding another public position less than three years after their appointment, will be obliged to return the scholarship paid on the period of education at this institution.
