În campaniile electorale anterioare, concurenţii deseori foloseau pungile din plastic ca material promoţional. O dovadă în acest sens sunt şi pungile folosite de Alianţa Braghiş în alegerile din 2001. Dat fiind tendinţa generală de interzicere a acestor pungi, respectivul atribut electoral în scurt timp nu va mai putea fi folosit nici în Moldova.
