The President of the Republic of Moldova continues a series of meetings with the most prominent representatives of the Moldovan society who contributed to the formation and development of our country.

“Today I invited the former chairmen of the Constitutional Court and noted that this institution played and would play a decisive role in building a democratic rule of law.

I highly appreciated activities of the former chairmen of the Constitutional Court, who for many years stood on the protection of the legal foundations of our statehood,” the President wrote in the social network.

At the same time, Igor Dodon expressed alarm at the deliberate actions of the ruling coalition in recent years aimed at undermining the constitutional foundations of the Moldovan state.

The participants of the meeting on their part gave legal assessments and noted the need not only to remove the interference created by the authorities, but also to prevent them in the future.
