63 victims of political repression will receive compensation from the state. The government approved the decision today.

A number of 5 million 484 thousand lei will be spent to pay the compensation. The money will be earmarked from the state budget.

Beneficiaries of the compensation are from the districts of Anenii Noi, Briceni, Cahul, Cantemir, Criuleni, Donduseni, Falesti, Glodeni, Ocnita, Rezina, Rascani, Sangerei, Straseni, Taraclia, Chisinau and Gagauzia.

The state budget for this year provides 7.5 million lei for the payment of compensations for the value of confiscated property, nationalized or removed in any way from the possession of rehabilitated victims of political repressions.
