Prime Minister Pavel Filip will visit Brussels on 02 – 06 May 2018, as to participate in meeting of the Moldova – EU Association Council, the fourth issue, the government’s communication and protocol department has reported.
The meeting will discuss progress in implementing the Reform Agenda provided by Association Agreement, including justice dimension, combating corruption, aligning regulatory framework with European standards, improving business environment and supporting the development of civil society.
The Council will also refer to developments within Comprehensive Free Trade Area (DCFTA) and aspects of economic cooperation of EU – Moldova.
Within margins of Association Council, Prime Minister Pavel Filip will also have more meetings with senior European officials, including EU High Representative for Foreign Affairs and Security Policy, Federico Mogherini, European Commissioner for European Neighbourhood Policy and Enlargement Negotiations, Johannes Hahn, European Commissioner for Economic and Financial Affairs, Taxation and Customs, Pierre Moscovici and President of European Council, Donald Tusk.
The discussions will focus upon the achieved results by Executive into promoting reforms and development priorities of Moldova for upcoming period of time.
