The candidates of public service and state officials will be able to apply for integrity certificates to the National Integrity Authority (ANI). A draft law in this regard was adopted today in final reading by Parliament.
According to new amendments to legislation, certificate of integrity will include info on unjustified property, conflicts of interest, violations of restrictions, unresolved incompatibilities, violations of limitations and valid prohibitions to hold a public office or public dignity.
The certificates will be issued by ANI within 15 working days.
Also today, MPs made a number of amendments to texting of special laws regulating activity of the state officials and civil clerks with special status, in compartment of mandatory requirements for employment or appointment. All persons applying for public office or public dignity will have to comply with condition that it is no prohibition to hold those functions.
