Moldovan parliament appoints two magistrates at top court

Victor Burduh and Victor Boico were appointed today by parliament as judges at the Supreme Court of Justice (CSJ).

Following the decision, the two magistrates will work at CSJ until the mandatory retirement age of 65.

The candidacies of the two judges were proposed to the parliament for consideration by the Superior Council of Magistracy, after having been selected following a competition.

The decision enters into force upon its approval.

Burduh worked as a judge since 1999, and in 2017 he served as deputy head of the Chisinau court, Ciocana.

Boico became a judge in 1995, and since 2003 he has been working at the Chisinau court, Buiucani.
