A new manager was named in Rascani district of Chisinau by order of Mayor Dorin Chirtoaca. This is Nicolae Balaur, who serves as the assistant of Liberal MP Iurie Darda, but is to vacate this post, IPN reports.

After the ordinary Monday meeting of officials of Chisinau services and divisions, Nicolae Balaur told the press that as head of Rascani district, he will continue the good practices of the former administration and will make effort to improve them so as to reach out to each citizen.

Nicolae Balaur said he is a member of the Liberal Party, but submitted an application to withdraw from the party given the incompatibility of the post with party membership.
