President Igor Dodon on January 2 convened the first meeting of the Supreme Security Council in the new composition. The Council is examining the banking frauds, IPN reports.

Igor Dodon requested to present information about the steps taken by the Supreme Security Council to prevent and stop the thefts committed in the financial-banking sectors since 2011. He also asked for proposals about the new composition of the Council.

The first legislative initiative signed by Igor Dodon as President suggests annulling the law that makes the repayment of the money stolen from the financial-banking sector the people’s burden.
