Prime Minister Pavel Filip, in the opening of the December 1 meeting of the Cabinet, transmitted sincere congratulations to Romania and its people on the occasion of the national holiday, IPN reports.

The Premier appreciated the constant support provided by Romania to Moldova, including in the European integration process, given the accumulated experience. He noted that the Republic of Moldova remains faithful to the Europeans integration objective and will continue with perseverance to do the reforms undertaken through the Association Agreement with the EU. “I transmitted this message also during my visit to Brussels, in the meetings with European officials during the last few days,” said Pavel Filip.

He also said that the €45 million financing provided by the EU to Moldova as budget support was unlocked. Next year Moldova will benefit from €100 million in assistance, €40 million of which in the form of a grant.
